Here’s a quick guide to help you set it up:

  1. Sign in to your Azure portal.
  2. Navigate to Cost Management 
  3. Under Cost Management, select Budgets.

  1. Click on Add to create a new budget.
  2. Enter the details for your budget, including the scope, amount, and reset period
  1. There are 3 budget alert we set

   For  50 % percent

   For  90 % percent

   For  200 % percent

 

  1.   For the Budget Name follow these naming conventions

<Tenant name>_50_Percent

<Tenant name>_90_Percent

<Tenant name>_200_Percent

  1. Check pervious five month budget and take the average of this budget to put it into the budget Amount and use same budget for all percentage . For doing this follow these step :-

   1-> Go to Cost Management -> Go to Cost Analysis on left panel.

   2->Go to Accumulated Cost

 3->Check cost for last five month

  1.  Select Actual and use these three mails for both 50% and 90 % alert.
